About the Teacher-Librarian

Hello James Ardiel Students!

My name is Mrs. Krgovich and I am the Teacher-Librarian at James Ardiel. Below is a picture of me reading in the Redwood Forest in Northern California and in a hammock at a campsite in Hedley, B.C. 

  

I can’t wait to help you to develop and discover your reader identity! I LOVE reading books and I hope to help you become a lover of books as well (if you aren't already). As a young student, I loved reading fantasy books. Some of my favourite books included The BFG, Little House in the Big Woods, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, The Magician's Nephew, and The Secret World of Og. Have you read any of those books?

                                              

                                            

In our Library Learning Commons we will discover new technology tools and apps together, and we will create and build with all the interesting Makerspace supplies we have.

I shouldn't forget to introduce you to a favourite little creature of mine: my cat, Suki! We adopted Suki from the SPCA. This is a picture of Suki helping me do a puzzle. Here is also a picture of my parents dog, Ruby - I love taking her for walks and swims !
